Our Story

Have you ever come home from a great beach day with half the shore trailing into your car? Or laid down a picnic blanket only to have damp grass soak right through?

We’ve been there - more times than we’d like to admit!

Nap and Sun started right here in Brisbane out of a simple, everyday frustration: outdoor gear that just didn’t perform the way it should. Soggy, heavy cotton towels that stay wet forever, blankets that absorb dirt, and clutter that makes getting out the door feel like a chore.

I’m Andrea, and I created Nap and Sun because I wanted better, more practical essentials that actually fit how we live in Australia. Life gets busy, but getting outside to recharge should always be simple, clean, and comfortable.

We believe that great design shouldn’t come at the expense of the places we love to explore.

That’s why our towels and outdoor gear are crafted using RPET fabric, made from recycled plastic water bottles. By turning post-consumer waste into soft, durable, high-performance fabric, we give plastic a second life and keep it out of our oceans and landfills.
